I am Karuna Panmuek, was born on 6 November 2002 at Surat thani provice (south of Thailand). . My nick name is Miang. I am the first year university student in field of English for career of art of human and society at Surat thani Ratchapat University.

เป็นคนจังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี ปัจจุบันเป็นนักศึกษาปริญญาตรีปีที่1 คณะมนุษยศาสตร์และสังคมศาสตร์ สาขาวิชาภาษาอังกฤษเพื่ออาชีพ มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏสุราษฎร์ธานี
Miang is the first Thai national Skeleton athlete that have attended the first New Sliding Sport Horizon Program in South of Korea. The sliding means Bobsleigh and Skeleton sports that are well known in Asia, and want to be promoted to the tropical country (without snow country). Many asian join this program which are from Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Cambodia. Miang is the representative from Thailand to attend this program and raced as Thai national athlete.
เมี่ยงเป็นนักกีฬาไทยคนแรกที่เล่นกีฬาSkeleton ที่ประเทศเกาหลีใต้ ในโครงการ New horizon เป็นโครงการที่ทางประเทศเกาหลีใต้ต้องการที่จะให้กีฬาประเภทSliding ซึ่งก็คือ Bobsleigh and Skeleton เป็นที่รู้จักในเอเชีย และต้องการให้ประเทศเขตร้อนที่ไม่มีหิมะได้รับโอกาสและได้เรียนรู้กีฬาฤดูหนาวนี้โดยมีประเทศที่เข้าร่วมได้แก่ ไทย มาเลเซีย เวียดนาม และกัมพูชา เมี่ยงเป็นตัวแทนประเทศไทยได้รับคัดเลือกให้เข้าร่วมโครงการนี้เพื่อฝึกซ้อมและแข่งขันในนามทีมชาติไทย
The begins of her Skeleton life is inspired from her great ability as Runner Athlete of Surat thani province, of region, and of Thailand. In 2019, she had won the GOLD medal for 3 x 800 meters
จุดเริ่มต้นของการเล่นกีฬาSkeleton เดิมทีเป็นนักกีฬากรีฑาของจังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี เป็นตัวแทนไปแข่งขันระดับภาคและระดับประเทศ ในปี2019 ได้เข้าร่วมการแข่งขันกีฬาเยาวชนแห่งชาติบุรีรัมย์เกมส์ ได้รางวัลชนะเลิศเหรียญทอง วิ่ง3×800 เมตร
By late of 2019, Thailand had encountered with serious Pandemic where stopped of races. During that Period, SSAT had invited me to attend the intensive training program in South Korea. Miang and Mita were representatives to attend.
หลังจากนั้นปลายปี 2019 ได้มีการแพร่ระบาดของไวรัสโควิด19 ทำให้ไม่มีการแข่งขันไปหลายรายการและถึงจุดอิ่มตัวในการเล่นกีฬากรีฑาและตอนนั้นทางโรงเรียนได้รับโอกาสจากทางสมาคมกีฬาสกีและสโนว์บอร์ดแห่งประเทศไทยให้เฟ้นหานักกีฬาเพื่อที่จะเป็นตัวแทนของประเทศไทยไปฝึกซ้อมที่ประเทศเกาหลีใต้โดยมีการรับสมัครคัดเลือกนักกีฬาตัวแทนของโรงเรียน2คน ซึ่งเมี่ยงและมิตา ได้รับโอกาสนั้น โดยผ่านการสัมภาษณ์จากทางสมาคม ต้องขอขอบคุณสมาคมกีฬาสกีและสโนว์บอร์ดแห่งประเทศไทยที่มอบโอกาสดีๆให้ และขอขอบคุณโรงเรียนศึกษาสงเคราะห์สุราษฎร์ธานีที่ไว้วางใจให้เป็นตัวแทน ขอบคุณค่ะ
Miang had trained and attended many races in 3 years. In 2022, the first competition in my life. I demonstrated to win the 5th running prize for Skeleton and the 3rd running prize for Bobsleigh from Korea cup & Bobsleigh Skeleton National Team Selection Program.

In 2023, the Korean team manager have well taken care and focus on our training and competition to qualify to Youth Olympic 2024.
และในปี2023 ได้เป็นManager ของทีม ดูแลเยาวชนรุ่นใหม่ที่จะต้องฝึกซ้อมและแข่งขันเพื่อQualified ไปYouth Olympic 2024
Miang have been training in South Korea and attending the North Amercan Cap in USA and won the 9th running Skeleton.

From the past 3 years, Miang have learned alot of experience, languages, friends, being a better & qualitied person, being more patience and become a fighter to the obstacle. I will keen to practice and focus in order to be qualifed to Winter Olympic at least once in my life
ในระยะเวลา3 ปีที่ผ่านมา เมี่ยงได้เรียนรู้อะไรมากมายหลายสิ่งหลายอย่าง ได้ประสบการณ์ที่หาจากไหนไม่ได้ ได้ภาษา ได้เพื่อนหลากหลายเชื้อชาติ ได้เป็นคนที่ดีขึ้น เก่ง อดทน ไม่ยอมแพ้ต่ออะไรง่ายๆ จะพัฒนาฝึกซ้อมต่อไปเพื่อไปให้ถึงWinter Olympic สักครั้งในชีวิต ขอบคุณค่ะ
